What Causes Vomiting And Burning From Stomach To Throat During Pregnancy?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Pleiase type your query here....hi,i'm pregnant 10 weeks now,i was vomit after drink o lot water, and feel burn in side all day, stomach up to throat, so what going on? is it normal or something wrong with baby?

Hello, thank you for your query.

Congratulations on being pregnant! Do not worry, there may not be anything wrong with your baby. Feeling nauseous and heartburn is very common in pregnancy & many women feel this in their initial few days of pregnancy. This is because increased level of hormones. Usually, this subsides after the first trimester, but in a few cases it continues throughout the pregnancy.
You can take antacids on as and when required basis to avoid the heartburn till you see a doctor. If it is very frequent and severe see a doctor and follow his instructions . Take short frequent meals instead of three major ones. Try to avoid foods that may irritate your system, like oily/spicy foods.
you can see a doctor periodically as advised by him/her.
