What Causes Vomiting And Dry Heaving?
my 17 mth old daughter has started vomiting in her sleep since about 12:30 this morning. She is sleeping, but still wakes every 5-8 minutes dry heaving. For about the past 40 minutes now her dry heaving has now turned into a little mucus with a brown tinge. Does this mean I should take her into th ER?

Vomiting during sleep may lead to aspiration and aspiration pneumonia.
It is better to take her to ER to rule out aspiration in view of respiratory symptoms.
