Pediatrician 's  Response
It could be that your son has got a gastrointestinal infection which is the cause of the fever and vomiting. The mainstay of treatment would be rehydration with oral rehydration solution (ORS) prepared by mixing a sachet in 200 ml or 1 litre of pain water, depending on the size of the sachet. It will help in preventing dehydration. Usually such infections are self limiting and get corrected in around 3-5 days. But a child not feeding well could warrant the requirement to visit a doctor. The use of antibiotics might be required and I would suggest that you visit a doctor and get the child assessed and treated.
