What Causes Vomiting And Loose Motion?

My daughter is vomitting from today morning she vomitted twice till now and also passed loose motion twice..She is 2yrs old and weight is 14kg. An year back when she got similar kind of thing Doctor prescribed Emeset Syrup Shall we give that now? and what dosage we have to give. Please advice

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. It seems your kid is having acute watery diarrhea. Unless the kid's having low urine output or very dull or excessively sleepy or blood in motion or green bilious vomiting...you need not worry. Antibiotics might worsen if unnecessarily used causing antibiotic associated diarrhea. I suggest you use zinc supplements & ORS... Emeset is only for vomiting... Give it only if vomiting is there.
