What Causes Vomiting And Malodorous, White Flecks In Stool In A Child?
My 10 month old baby suffering from cold and chesty cough for a week now has vomitted twice in two days (mostly at night time) and has loose stool that started from runny foul bad egg smell to mustard yellow colour, mucusy and small white flecks. Please advise what is wrong.

It is likely to be a viral infection. We need to prevent dehydration by giving ORS and other home made liquid. Continue with feeding and all foods he accepts. See a pediatrician for medicines like Syp Zinc etc
