What Causes Vomiting And Stomach Pain While On Birth Control?

My girlfriend and I had sex one week ago. Within a day or two after she began complaining of stomach aches when she ate. She threw up a few times that week, but since then no vomitting just a stomach ache. Is she alright? Is she pregnant? We did use protection during sex and she's on birth control

Dear stomach ache may be due to simple gastritis,food poisoning may gives rise to vomiting. Birth control pills when used perfectly, the pill is 99% effective. But when it comes to real life, the pill is about 91% effective because it can be hard to be perfect. So in reality, 9 out of 100 pill users get pregnant each year . so please get urine or blood pregnancy test. Till that time take tab. Ondonsetron twice a day, tab pantaprazole before breakfast. If symptoms not improved consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Most likely this is a simple viral gastroenteritis. There is always a chance of pregnancy if the protection was compromised (rips, tears etc) or her birth control was not taken as directed. Additionally pregnancy symptoms should not appear 1-2 days after theoretical conception. it does not sound as if she is pregnant, if there is concern from previous sexual encounters consider pregnancy over the counter urine test.
