What Causes Vomiting, Closing Throat And Headache After Taking Diltiazem For Thyroid?
My name is anna I had my thyroid removed an know having problems my doctor gave me diltiazem I was taking it 4 times a day worked for awhile right now I fell like mt throat is closing and my head hurts really bad I have to make myself throw up after I eat my food gets stuck

Usually diltiazem will not produce the above said symptoms. Possibilitirs are that of a pharyngeal diverticulum, arrhythmia or intracranial space occupying lesion. Consult a physician who can can delineate the cause by asking a proper history. You did not mention whether you are taking levothyroxine.. make sure that your calcium level is normal.
