What Causes Vomiting Undigested Food?
I have awaken from a dead sleep 2 times in te past week and half....to throw up. Everything undigested and the consistancy of mashed potatoes. I cant figure out why. Its been a week apart. Never happened before. My boss had the same thing right after my first episode. same duration...couple hours..nothing stays down...sips of water..nothing. Then it goes away like nothing ever happened. Im 43...healthy...dont smoke....vegan. Any ideas?

If you and your boss had the same food or from the same place and developed similar symptoms it is highly likely food poisoning. Improper cooking and storing the food and poor hygiene lead the food to get contaminated with bacteria.
If your symptoms developed within 8 hours after eating the food the cause is either S.aureus (mostly eating meat and dairy products) or B.cereus (mostly after eating rice) toxins.
Both of them may cause acute food poisoning with vomiting, diarrhea and/or abdominal discomfort. These symptoms are self-limited and last up to 24-48 hours. The treatment is symptomatic: taking adequate fluids to avoid dehydration.
But any time you have bloody or severe diarrhea, fever and severe abdominal pain you should immediately visit a hospital.
