What Causes Watery Eyes?

My eye keeps watering non stop! I went to the doctor. She said she thinks it's a blocked tear duct. She gave me an RX for an eye drop. It's hasn't helped at all. A friend told me to take a warm cloth and massage the area. What do you recommend for a blocked tear duct?

it appears to be blocked nasolcrimal duct. punctum dialatation and syringing should be repeatedly done. if it is clear then watering will stop. if blocage persist then point oblock to be detected with dye injection and x-ray. if block is detected then surgical procedure is to be adopted.
