What Causes Watery Stool In A Baby?

Hi, My baby is 4 months old, he is passing watery motion from past 5 days.It s yellow in color, before he used to just pass stool for 2 times a day, now he passes 3 times a day and also watery stool around 4-5 times a day, usually when he is being fed. Please help.

Welcome to the healthcaremagic
It is physiological ( normal ) for infants less than six months old to pass 5-7 motions per day..especially if exclusively breast fed.Passing motion immediately after feed is due to gastrocolic reflex and is normal.Sometimes due to viral infections babies pass loose watery stools.They are self limiting.So only hydration needs to be monitored
