What Causes Weak Voice And Difficulty In Swallowing?

I have had a weak throat for a few months now and it makes it hard for me to talk for a prolonged period as my voice starts to disappear through the day. It is not really sore but does feel a bit uncomfortable when i swallow especially. What could this be?

Hello,

A weak voice may be due to laryngitis or viral infection or vocal module or acid erosion et cetera. Until examination is done by indirect laryngoscopy, it is difficult to say what it is.

Please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
