What Causes Weakness And Blood In Stool While On Ciprofloxacin For Typhoid?
Hi! I suffered from typhoid fever two weeks ago and doctor suggested ciprofloxacin for me. However, after two weeks of medication i still m weak and i can see blood in my stoll with a mild headache. What can be the reason as i think i had antibiotic for appropriate time.

After post antibiotics usage there is a hardening of stools leads to mucosal injury lead to blood in stool.
Post enteric fever weakness may be due to loss of nutrients and weight loss.
You may again get it done Widal test if symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
