Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear sir i can understand your concern.
i am very sorry for the condition of your father.
the condition your father is facing is called Burnt out diabetes.
in this condition sugars will be fine inspite of stopping medication.
The problems like weakness might be due to anaemia that is low haemoglobin.
This will occur in CKD.
itching and vomiting might be due to increased urea levels.
i suggest you to meet nephrologist and take appropriate advise.
follow low protein diet take low salt and low potassium diet.
regards
