What Causes Weakness In Left Arm And Blurred Vision?

Hi. I have been under a lot of stress lately. Today I was told scarey financial realities, and provoked into an argument. I have high blood pressure & take meds. Now my left arm feels weak & my vision does not seem clear. I am trying to keep calm. Should I be concerned?

I am very sorry for your financial problems and now this health related issues . Sir you are hypersensitive and taking medicine for the same..you have not given any detail about your blood pressure whether it is controlled or not..what is your age.is there any other diagnosed illness along with it..as you have described now you have weakness of an arm and blurring of vision . This should be taken seriously most probably you may have ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke .It may be transient sometimes that we call transient ischemic attack..or may be manifestation of something more serious . The first thing I would like to suggest you that you should go to emergency department and get your bp checked .next Non contrast CT or MRI BRAIN is to be done to rule out any intracranial pathology and management accordingly . From now onwards you have to take more precautions about your health..maintain healthy life style.salt and saturated fat restricted diet . Diet rich in fruits and vegetables . Drink alcohol in moderation that is less than 2 drinks per day.maintain BMI less than 25 . Go for exercise every day..hope this will help.
