Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 76 female and I have a problem with walking. When I walk I get very weak In the legs and have to sit for a few minutes. This Continues on all the time I am out and about ( this happens all the time). I ve been to several doctors and they can t seem to find any reason for this. I ve had several MRI s and been to neurologists. Please help. Thank you. YYYY@YYYY
After going through your query I understand your concern.
I would like to tell you that two main causes of legs weakness on walking is spinal stenosis or peripheral artery disease. If your neurological evaluation came out normal then vascular evaluation will be required.
Kindly get an ultrasound both legs or CT Peripheral Angiography done and consult with a Vascular Surgeon / Cardiologist for further management.
Hope to have been helpful.
Kind Regards Dr. Navneet Bansal
