What Causes Weakness In The Right Hand After Sudden Discomfort Between The Shoulder Blades?
Hi i recently while lifting weights i felt something in my back between the shoulder blades, now i m having trouble with my right hand, weakness in gripping things but no tingling or pain. I tried icing my upper back but so far no improvement This is the 3rd day dealing with this. Im thinking of going to a chiropractor maybe a nerve is being pinched. What do you think? Thanks.
Shoulder blade pain may won't effect gripping things. Gripping is palmar function mainly depends upon ulnar or medial nerves. If you feel weakness means then the nerves may feel compressed or exhausted.
Tennis elbow or brachial plexus injury may can present like this. Shoulder blade pain may relieved by taking rest with pain killers or cold or ice compression.
If symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will check for all muscles of the hand and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
