Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
During the last year I have experienced loss of strenght in lifting my torso off a level service and the flexibility in both legs. Simple tasks like putting on socks and shoes, getting up from an upholstered chair, and getting in and out of an automobile require an effort. I have deteriorated from an extremely active do-it-your-selfer to someone with limited physical capabilities.
You should keep yourself well hydrated & away from too much stress/anxiety. Electrolyte balance of your body is important, a deficiency of potassium(hypokalemia) or a deficiency of sodium(hyponatremia) may cause the symptoms that you are experiencing.
This causes muscular weakness. Get a general health check-up, get physically examined & get all the necessary investigations done. Your treatment will depend upon your investigation reports. Take sufficient sleep & maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
