Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Weakness, Tired Legs With Appetite Loss?
I've been feeling weak, tired legs and loss of appetite. I feel like i have a digestion problem though my stools seems quite normal. I went for check up last November and the doctor prescribed me Thyronom, it was 5.6. So am wondering if this might be the problem.
Many causes for weakness, leg pains and loss of appetite. 1. Anemia 2. Hypothyroidism. 3. Excessive caffeine intake. 4. Anxiety or depression. 5. Restless leg syndrome etcetera. TSH 5.6 okay but your doctor may have thyroid tablets thought that is subclinical hypothyroidism. Do yoga and meditation, eat green leafy vegetables, avoid spicy food and alcohol. Continue above medicine if symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
