Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 37, almost 38 year old female. I work out approximately 4 times a week for 2 hours at a time. I weigh 175 pounds. I eat right and for some reason, I still gain weight. I've been at this regime for approximately 7 months. I hired a peronal trainer at my gym who measures my BMI. I have not even lost a percent of body fat. In fact I've gained 3 percent. Any ideas? I'm frustrated!
Hi, In spite of all these precautions and regular exercises as you do not lose your weight but gaining weight requires some investigations. Go for Thyroid function test, blood sugar estimation. In hypothyroid and diabetes there is gain in weight. After reports go for treatment if required. Observe strict diet menu. Ok and take care.
