What Causes Weight Increase Despite Regular Exercise

Hi I am 29 yrs old female and my height is 5.1 and weight is 55kgs...i am hypothyroid patient. My weight was stable at 50kgs for almost last 2years, but despite of regular exercise and 100 mcg thyronorm tablet intake, suddenly in last 2 mths it has increased to 55kgs .

Thanks for asking to Healthcaremagic.I understand your concern.
If i were your physician,would ask for some information to give good opinion like any recent diet changes,recent serum T4,T3 levels and any recent medical history,drug use.However with this limited information,i would advise you to avoid high caloric foods,avoid eating at bedtime,avoid eating soon after the drug(which decreases the bioavailability of the drug) which might be the causes for your weight gain.I would also suggest you to visit an endocrinologist to rule out thyroid hormone resistance and for any dose alteration if needed.Hope I have answered your question.Feel free to ask any further questions.Take care.
