What Causes Weight Loss And Stool Incontinence In A Heart Patient?

Looking for assistance. My father. 83, past heart issues has lost 50lbs in the past 2 months. He weighs 138lbs. He is not eating and has no bowel control and can not walk.All of this has recently happened.He is in FL.The dr told him to go to the hospital tomorrow.Looking for advice. He is stubborn and my mother is not helpful.

Rapid weight loss in anyone, but especially in older patients is very concerning for a cancer. I agree that he needs to see a physician immediately. Please try to convince him to be seen today

Rapid weight loss is a concern for cancer. There can also be other causes but he really needs to be seen by a doctor as soon as possible. Please try to convince him to go to emergency today
