What Causes Weight Loss, Excessive Eating, Nausea, Lightheadedness And Back Pain?
Hi I m 45, my period is 7 days late. In the past 3 years we have been trying to have a baby. I miscarried 3 times and I gave up. I been losing weight lost about 97 pounds. Past few days all I want to do is eat especially chili cheese fries which I never eat. I have nauseas, light headed and back hurts. I took 3 tests past 3 days and nothing. I m scared
well you dont have to be scared . you are at 45 and i hope you have weighed your options of congenital anomalies/ chances of down syndrome in fetuses conceived at your age.
its good that you have lost weight. it helps regularize the cycles. also now that you are 7 days over your due date and your preg test is negative, still i suggest that you wait for another 7 days and perform a preg test just to ensure if you had a delayed conception.
nauseas , back pain , light headedness and change of mood also forms a part of premenstrual syndrome before menses and cannot be definitely attributed to pregnancy . the only confirmatory test is a beta hcg based positive urine pregnancy test followed by an ultrasound confirmation.
