Hello and thank you for using HCM. I carefully read you question and I understand your concern. But don't worry. It is nothing serious.
As you explain, you had an episode with dizziness and shaking heart beat. But you explain that you felt better after a drink with sugar. This make me think that it might have been an episode with hypoglycemia and hypertension. There are cases when the livel of glycemia in the body falls down, maybe because you haven't eat anything for a while. This gives hypoglycemia and hypo-tension. The hypo tension gives you dizziness. The heart, with a compensatory mechanism, to maintain the normal body perfusion rises its frequency.
This is why you experience a shaking heart beat but every thing comes to normality when you drink something with sugar. You and your heart interfered and every thing came back to normality.
So, my opinion as a cardiologist is that you have nothing to worry. This is a normal body answer. The fact that you had septicemia once it is not related with this episode as you are cured now and you do not have signs of infection.
I hope i was helpful. Best regards.
