What Causes Wheezing, Low Temperature, Sleepy, Cold Sweats In A Child?

I have a 7 month old. She has been wheezing a little bit the last couple of days. She's been a little sleepier, has a low temp and is having cold sweats. She's not acting as if she feels sick. I just want to know if these symptoms seem like a respiratory infection.

Hello. Thank you for your question. Though the sound of wheezing could indicate some process happening in the lungs, it often means the child has a simple cold. In your case, the fact that she is not acting sick is very encouraging. However, whenever the term "wheezing" is used, it is never a bad idea to have a doctor examine and make sure the lungs are clear.
