What Causes White And Rubbery Blockage In The Right Ear?

My fiance` has been having this white, hard, rubbery blockage in her right ear. For the last 3 weeks, each week a large chunk of the material has been flushed out. She's also 7 months pregnant. What is this condition and what can be done about it? Thanks

Hi,thank you for posting your query on health care magic.

Looking at the symptoms,there can be following possibilities:
1.)Otomycosis-fungal infection of the external ear.It needs to be removed by otolaryngologist doctor .And then Antifungal ear drops need to be taken for atleast 10 days.Precautions should be taken to avoid self cleaning of ear and avoid water going inside ear.
2.)Cholesteatoma of external ear-a disease in which the skin produces excessive white flakes ,which may later lead to destruction of bone-in such a case also,ear needs to get cleaned by Otolaryngologist doctor.
