Hi, I have white bumpy lines right at the crease where the gums meet the cheeks on the right and left side of my mouth. I was wondering if this could be linea alba even though its not where the teeth meet, or maybe just an irritation? I didn t notice anything until a few days ago, but once I used listerine it began to burn a bit as if it were a canker sore. All i really feel normally is a bit of pressure anytime my cheeks move, no real pain. Thanks, Sean.
Hello, Welcome to healthcare magic, From your description I can think of 2 possibilities. It could be leukoplakia or lichen planus. Leukoplakia is due to constant irritation because of chewing or due to a jagged / crooked tooth. Lichen planus is a skin disease. I recommend you to consult a dermatologist or examination and diagnosis. Hope this helped, Take care.
