Hi , How are you doing ? The possibilities are 1. Any vaginal infection which would have come to you during sex, even if long back. The infection can colonise in vagina & the stump of vagina, which can come up on & off. This can cause a white or yellowish or grayish or brownish discharge, which can be with or without foul smell , itching, feeling of urinary infection, burning or frequency of urination. This will need an evaluation by gynecologist & treatment with antibacterial + antifungal orally & locally into the vagina. 2. After hysterectomy , the blood flow to ovary reduces & hormone level may be so much reduced , that you get the postmenopausal symptoms. You could be having Atrophic vaginitis . The vaginal wall will be dry & the surface keeps oozing out discharge, having a burning sensation. This will need a local application of estrogen cream into vagina. Hope I have clarified your queries, do write back if any more queries All the best Dr.Balakrishnan
