What Causes White Coating On The Tongue During Pregnancy?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... Iam a woman in my 23rd week of pregnancy.i developed some white stuff on my white tongue in my 4th week and went to a doctor who said its not thrush.spent my first trimester not brushing my teeth because i would vomitt.now i have developed some white line inside my mouth on the lower lip but its not painful and my tongue has never been painful even if i scrap it.what could this be?no treatment taken

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion the white coating of tongue might be due to vitamin deficiency.And the white line might be due to dehydration.Take adequate fluids upto 3 litres and vitamin B complex supplements.Take fruits and veggies daily .Avoid stress if any.As there is no thrush nothing to worry.
