What Causes White Colored Particles At The Base Of Urine Bag Of A Bed Ridden Patient?

hi, an old bed bound patient (male) having dimensia, cant speak and unable to describe the condition... the attendant observed white colored particles in the base of the urine bag (like a little amount of fine dust of sand) .. since the urine is not clear and color seems light yellow.. looking forward for your advise thanks..

Those could be clumps of pus, suggesting an infection. Crystals can also form in the urine. If they get big enough, stones can result. Sometimes tiny ones can form a kind of sediment that settles down to the bottom of the bag. His urine should be tested for these things. A sample including the material should be sent to the lab and looked at under a microscope. They can then identify what these particles are and treat accordingly. Hope this helps.
