Hallow Dear,
You might have been treated by some antibiotics for Chalmydia. These antibiotics often destroy the normal vagina flora of Lactobacilli. which are protective for vagina. Due to loss of these protective bacteria, fungal
vaginal infection is a very common complication.
Such fungal
vaginitis, though commonly sexually transmitted infection, commode users too get it vary commonly.
This discharge is usually while with curd like flakes. It causes immense itching. It can be very effectively treated by anti-fungal creams. Along with, please use Lactobacilli vaginal ovules at bed time for at least 15 days. Also lactobacilli perineal wash like Lactacyd will be useful. Many a times, such
Fungal infection is associated with Trichomonal infection which causes greenish white discharge. It can be treated with
Metronidazole.
In addition to the medicinal treatment, please follow these instructions:
1. Clean shave the private parts.
2. Clip the nails short. Avoid scratching.
3. Boil your underwear every day.
4. Use panty liners.
5. Observe complete sexual abstinence till both of you are completely cured.
Both the partners should undergo simultaneous treatment to avoid recurrence.
Please report to your Gynaecologist.
I am sure this will help you.
