Hello doctor, well Im a woman and I have a problem with my Vagina. And I was wondering if you could help me out? Basically I have white stuff around my clitoris and it s also red, it is only around the clitoris and I thought it was thrush so I tried a cream for it but it didn t work so it s not thrush. It doesn t itch, infact it causes no problems but sometimes it smells, and I am really confused as to what it is?when I checked down there I saw small whiteish spots which again cause no problems it s just embarrassing

Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Clitoris is a very sensitive part like penis head. Your problem can be most likely due to irritation. Washing the area with soaps and irritants also can cause the condition like you mentioned. So better avoid soaps and irritants to wash the area and instead you can use saline or warm water. Using intimate wash is also good. If still irritation is there then i would recommend creams with combination of anti fungal, anti bacterial and corticosteroid for local application. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
