What Causes White Discolouration And Soreness In The Throat?

Hi, I had the feeling of mucus in the back of my throat for a week, then I became nauseous (lasted abit over a week). I had a decreased appetite for a few days but throughout most of this time I was constantly hungry). Then I had a sore throat for 2 weeks, it was not very sore just a feeling of a lump and slightly irritated. After the sore throat stopped, I would then wake up congested with a sore throat only in the morning. Mucus was clear and white for the majority of the time

Dear you may be suffering from chronic pharyngitis. Dear most common cause for chronic pharyngitis may be due to tonsillitis, sinusitis with post nasal drip, chronic allergies, air born allergen etc, some time GERD (gastro esophageal reflex disease) may cause early morning pain in throat along with chest pain.

Avoid cool drink and freeze water, use water vapor inhalation, avoid allergen, tab. Moterleukast and levocegrizine at night, tab. Pantaprazole before breakfast. Still symptoms persisten you need to consult your Ent surgeon he will examine and treat you accordingly.
