What Causes White Patches Of Hair On The Scalp At Birth?
I have a 9 year old grand daughter and 8 year old grand son who were born with a quarter sized white patch of hair on their heads. (the kids are cousins, not siblings.) The underlying tissue appears normal. What causes this? Both children have normal hearing. Both of these kid s spots are on the left side a little above and behind the left ear.
