What Causes White Patches On Right Tonsil And Difficulty In Swallowing?
My right tonsil has white patches on it and everytime I swallow it hurts. I do not have fever or any cold. I just got this pain when I woke up yesterday and now that I see specifically, I have white things on my right tonsil. What do I have? Is it STD?
about your question i would like to tell you that these symptoms you mentioned refer mainly to have tonsills infection bacterial or viral.....your feeling of discomfort or pain of your tonsills shouldnot make you worry as it is common symptom of common cold or bacterial infection of your throat ....white patches on your tonsills indicate bacterial infection mainly........it can be transmitted by kissing and droplets......also we can suspect diphteria infection .....about management of that you can take tylenol as it will help alot to improve .......you should also drink alot of warm fluids that helps also....you should also have bed rest and no effort that makes you tired .....you can gargle your throat with saline solution it helps to decontaminate your throat ........... we require blood test or throat swab if symptoms get severe or to detect causative agent of that patches..........throat swab is important for diagnosis so you should refer to specialist and discuss about investigative tests to get worry out.......wish you healthy life
