What Causes White Spots All Over The Shoulders And Forearm?

Hi I am 14 years old and this year I have noticed that I have two different cases of discoloured skin. The first case is I have very small white spots all over my shoulders and now they are moving down to my fore arm. The second case is I have about five light brown flat pencil eraser or bigger sized spots on and I between my breasts. Please help I do not know what to expect. My family doctor has looked at the white spots and said that is just discoloration and that it is fine . That wax before they started to spread. The brown spots have never been looked at

Hi thanks for choosing HCM,
White spots on shoulders usually due to superficial fungus called Pitryiasis versicolor.
It is simple problem.
1) wash that area with ketoconazole soap.
2) Apply Clotrimazole gel on both shoulders.
3) Tab Fluconazole 400 mg at stat and followed by
weekly 150mg Fluconazole for 6 weeks give very good result.
4) After application of cream dusted with clotrimazole powder.Hope it helps you.thank you.
