Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For 2 weeks my bowel movements have had white spots in them. i took a toothpick to it and the seem to dissolve, they are about 1mm in size. I am concerned because I am also 6 weeks pregnant. Could I have worms? I am 27 years old 5 3 and 135lbs. No weight loss at this time.
Well come to HCM Thank for asking I really appreciate your concern, color consistency and the appearance are all depends upon the diet taken it can not be taken for anything wrong unless it is being tested for something so no need to worry about this and if this happening all along the way then stool needs to be send for laboratory examination it is such thing that needs exact observation, it could be worm or may not be, difficult to say anything without seeing it, but it is nothing to worry if you do not have any symptoms hope this information helps.
