Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 6 year old has pancreatic insuffienciency and has been taking Creon for 2 years. His recent upper and lower endoscopy and colonoscopy showed a major decline in function of his pancreas. It is not functioning and the enzymes are not working for him. They sent us today for an MRI of his abdomen. The tech asked if he recently had barium because he had white spots in his large intestine. I said no. I am obviously a nervous wreck waiting for results now. What could these spots be? He also has low white blood count and other labs that were abnormal.
