Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Cerebral microangiopathy/periventricular microangiopathy is commonly detected on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in elderly hypertensive patients and includes the very early stage of microvascular disease (white matter hyperintensities [WMHs] and lacunar infarctions). These patients may prone to develop further stroke, myocardial ischemia or peripheral vascular disease etc. Do regular exercise and avoid smoking, alcohol intake. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
