much like the question I saw my concern is a white hard spot. a little dot but boney/calcified texture. this spot has irritated my tongue and now I see white spots (not hard but sore) on my tongue. Next to original spot had excessive pressure from tooth above for long time due to other work. Recently/currently on antibiotics augmentin, I believe, for gum cyst near by. not sure because didn t specify with dentist if the white spot related. Plus the tongue new development. Is the white spot also part of the gum cyst? Is the spot on my tongue probably an irritation? Or more?
It is important to observe how this white spot or patch behaves. It is probably harmless but if it increases in size, it is better to get a biopsy done. I don't think it is related to the gum cyst. Also, the sharp tooth needs to be polished to prevent further injury.
