What Causes White Stuff Inside The Ear?

Hey, I was looking for advice, my 14 week old baby has White stuff in her left ear, it goes all the way down inside her ear! It is thick and White! I have tried to clean her ear whilst she had a bath earlier with cotton wool but was scared to as it's so close to the opening in her ear and I don't know what it is and I didn't want to hurt her but what cotton wool did go in her ear did not shift any of it that was furthest away from the opening.... Should I be worried? Please help!? I don't know if this is causing her any upset as she is starting to teethe at the moment!

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi , your clinical history is suggestive ear wax which is thick & whitish in infant.

Don't try to remove at home , may lead to damage to ear drum.

I will suggest you to please consult your ENT doctor .Or you can use wax dissolving ear drop for 5 days.

Hope above information helpful to you , take care.
Regards - Dr KK ( Karade ) .
