What Causes White Tongue And Pale Lips?

Hi, i think that i may have had an allergic reation to something that i have eaten. My tongue is all white and my lips are very pale (but the insides of my lips is an angry red. my lips are all swollen and my tongue is also slightly swollen. my tongue feels as if i had just eaten something v hot and left my tongue scalded. i have had this for over 24 hours (thinking it would go) and i have taken anti-histermine. Thank you for your time. Nadine

thanks for your query, i have gone through your query, the swollen tongue and lip could be an hypersensitivity or allergic reaction secondary to some drug or food items...consult a oral physician to rule out other causes... you can continue antihistamines but if it doesnt subside then consult a physician..
