What Causes White Yellowish Discharge From Penis?

I have a pus like discharge coming from my penis. It is a white yellowish color. I noticed it a couple days ago. I assumed it was an std so I got checked. I have the results back and it is negative for everything except HSV-1. I have no visible soars or bumps on my penis. what could it possibly be?

Yeast infection has to be clearly differentiated from viral infection that is HSV. Yeast infection causes white to red patches along with itching, where as HSV causes intense pain and redness along with vesicles formation.Antifungal medications like Diflucan are required to treat the condition. Yellowish discharge from penis require culture and sensitivity testing to identify the disease causing microbe and determine appropriate treatment. Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe these medications to you.
