What Causes Whitish Vaginal Discharge?

I was taking a shower when I felt some irregularities with my vagina, so I checked with a mirror.. I noticed that the entire inside was white. At first I thought it was discharge so I tried wiping it away. Some wiped off but for the most part it stayed. Around the hole was irritated and seemed swollen. Then, in just 2 spots on both sides, there are tiny patches of skin that appear red and raised. They don t hurt or itch. I have been with the same partner for 2 years now and he and I are both clean so I don t know how it could possibly be an STD.. but I still don t know what it could be.
