What Causes Whooshing Sound In Ear With Dizziness?
Hi I ve been getting dizziness, feeling like am fainting when i get up during the night for toilet, I feel unstable like a wobbly feeling i have no control over I need to lie back down in bed then a whooshing sound like the ocean waves starts in my ears goes on for about 20 mis or so, been getting more and more common in recent months,

It occur due to abnormal volume or composition of fluid in the inner ear. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis and to rule out other conditions like acoustic neuroma and inner ear infection . Doctor may order certain test to confirm diagnosis like Hearing Test , Balance Tests , Videonystagmography and Vestibular evoked myogenic potentials testing . Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drugs , recommend hearing aid , vestibular nerve section procedure or Meniett device .
