hello i am 8 weeks pregnant and believe i have worms. i went to the hospital and they checked me but did not take a stool sample or anything, how can i be sure that they even know that i do or do not . they did check my anus but and i believe they checked my blood or what not. im super nervous and just want to be sure

Noted the history of being 8 weeks pregnant and believe that you have worms, went to the hospital and checked you, but dd not take any stool sample, checked anus, wants to be sure and wants to know how to get this confirmed. First of all, you should have mentioned the reasons why would you be feeling that you have worms. Have you seen them in stool, any weight loss or pain or bloating or any symptoms that you can really correlate to being suffering from worm infestation. Certainly, finding the actual worms in the stool does confirm that you have worm infestation or stool sample sowing ova and cyst. Please insist on getting these and since you are 8 weeks pregnant you can be given only those medications which will not be harmful to you or your baby..
