Dear Mr.Remmington, There might be multiple causes of chronic non healing wound for which a detailed history required. How ever I shall lost out a few conditions which are most likely in your case : 1. Diabetes mellitus: kindly get a fasting and post prandial blood glusose levels done. 2. Secondary infections: wound complicated with secondary infection not letting it heal properly. Pus culture and sensitivity required if wound is raw. Hence my advice is to pay your dermatologist a visit and get the investigations done so as to proceed further with treatment. I hope I was able to address your concern. Kindly feel free to ask for any clarifications in this matter. Wishing you best of health.
