What Causes Yellow Discharge After An Abortion?

I had a second trimester abortion exactly one week ago, and I m experiencing bleed ~I know that s normal~ but I m using a tampon and when I remove it I feel like there is yellow discharge on the tip of it. I have a post op next week should I wait... or do something about it

Hi welcome to HCM....

You had abortion one week before ...

And now still having bleeding that is not normal....

Within 7 to 8 days bleeding should be stopped if abortion complete and without infection...

Here incomplete abortion should be ruled out by ultrasonography ....Urine examination also done ...

If infection present antibiotic needed....

Ectopic pregnancy also should be ruled out by USG and Hcg estimation...

If incomplete abortion there suction evacuation or dilatation and curratege like procedure Needs to be done ...

Healthy and balanced diet taken with fruits more ...
Iron supplement given....
