Hello
It seems from the history that your 3 month old daughter is having yellow discharge. This can be caused by either conjunctivitis as your doctor has told and the other cause is congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction.
The treatment for conjunctivitis is by use of antibiotic eye drops and tobramycin is effective in treating acute conjunctivitis.
If the condition is not responding to treatment by antibiotics eye drops I advice you to consult your doctor to rule out nasolacrimal duct obstruction.

Thank you
