What Causes Yellow Vaginal Discharge After Insertion Of Mirena?
I just had mirena inserted about a month ago after having my baby and now I am having a yellow/tan discharge. I took meds for a yeast infection about a week or two ago so I know it could not be that and now this yellow discharge. I have not had sex since I had it placed. Is it normal?

Yellow discharge especially after Mirena insertion us concerning for infection (bacterial). Hence, please follow up with your ObGyn to get vaginal swab microscopy and culture done.
