What Causes Yellow Waxy Discharge Through The Breast?

I would like to know if I should be concerned about waxey dark yellow discharge in one breast, I have my mammogram done when its required every two years, I have been told that i do have cysts in my breasts. I had a hysterectomy about 5 years ago and am taking estradot 37.5 at the moment, however I have been on hrt replacement for about 4.5 years. you re advise woulh be much appreciated. Regards Deborah

Hi Deborah,
When one's taking HRT ,it may cause waxy or milky discharge. consult your OB GYN and get prolactin level done

If it's increased, then it's prudent to stop the pills
